The final power rankings heading into the final weekend of the Mountain West season is usually championship weekend, but it is also Army vs. Air Force week as well.
The top two teams in our power poll does feature San Jose State and Boise State who will be facing off this weekend for conference supremacy. The Broncos did snag one of the first-place votes away from the Spartan’s grip.
The rankings had a few changes, especially with New Mexico’s upset win over Fresno State last week. The Bulldogs loss dropped them from the fourth spot down a few and conversely, the Lobos did not move up but rather closed the gap. New Mexico has a nice foundation and goes into the offseason wth some momentum.
