Splitting first-place votes, again?

With three games canceled and half of the league not playing, the movement in these power rankings will be limited, especially with Nevada and Boise State avoiding upsets this past week.

What happened at the top is the Wolf Pack going from four first-place votes but now has eight and Boise State garners the two other first-place votes. This also leads to San Jose State losing its two first-place votes and dropping from second to third, and sets up this Saturday’s game between the two as a showdown to gain an edge to earn a spot in the Mountain West title game.

The Spartans were unable to play a quality Fresno State team whereas Boise State went to Hawaii and won 40-32.

Air Force is in the best position to make move as they have not played for two weeks and then shutout New Mexico, 28-0.
