NCAA Tournament Projections: Nevada, Boise State Only Undefeated Mountain West Teams

There is a new way to determine NCAA Tournament bids

The NCAA Tournament selection committee has made some changes to how they select teams. Gone are the days of only using RPI only to determine which teams are worthy. (Read our intro here)
These changes weigh road and home games differently and four RPI groups, plus KenPom, RPI and BPI are metrics, too.

League play started its second week and there are now just two undefeated teams with Boise State and Nevada with wins over New Mexico and Wyoming, respectively.
These two teams are on a collision course with zeros in the loss column on January 20th in Reno. The Broncos and Wolf Pack look to be the two best bets of an at-large spot. UNLV is struggling and barely defeated San Jose State on the road and that followed a loss to Boise State at home.
We may have been a bit too early denouncing San Diego State but the Wyoming and Cal losses are bad, but the Aztecs have chances vs. Boise State and Nevada later this year.
