Mountain West tournament is taking focus
The Mountain West’s conference tournamnet is now just nine days away and the seeding for the Las Vegas event is coming together. Nevada has clinched the top seed, and won back-to-back conference titles. As promised there was a shirtless Muss citing.

That gives the Wolf Pack the number one seed.
Boise State claimed the second seed after this weekends results which had them win and the Bulldogs losing on Saturday. The other end of the bracket is cemeted as well with San Jose State as the 11th team and are likely on track for a winless league slate. The 10 seed is Colorado State after the Rams lost to the Wolf Pack.
There are still seven seeds up for grabs and the most important thing for these teams are to make it to the the top five and avoid the Wednesday opening game.
The three through five slots are being fought over by six teams. Frenso State looks to be the safest bet to earn a bye as they take on Air Force in its makeup game on Monday night, but their season finale game at New Mexico will be a tricky one as the Lobos have played a lot better of late. Getting 11 wins by any Mountain West team will be enough for a bye.
To take an educated guess on those other three teams which will earn a bye will likely be Fresno State, New Mexico and Wyoming.
Here are the current Mountain West standings.
