The second day of the Mountain West Tournament is in the books as fifth-seeded San Diego State topped fourth-seeded Fresno State and No. 7 seed Utah State topped No. 2 seed Boise State. Utah State advances to the semifinals of the Mountain West Tournament for the first time ever. It is the first time a seven seed has made it to the semifinals since Wyoming in 2006.
