Not much movement this week.

The poll this week is boring

In the latest edition of the Mountain West power poll is sort of boring, really. The top seven positions remain the same but the first place votes are condensing to only Fresno State and Utah State.

The pecking order has long been established with only San Diego State, Fresno State, Utah State and Boise State as teams who can claim a spot in the conference title game.

Beyond that, there is a jumbled mess of teams even if these rankings do not reflect a lot of changes in these polls. The one team to get a big jump is Wyoming which moved up to spots after its 24-9 victory over San Jose State and are playing well over its past two games which have been victories.

With the Cowboys move up a few spots that push down New Mexico two spots despite the Lobos nearly upsetting San Diego State.

The polls have the potential in Week 11 to have a huge change on Friday night where Boise State hosts Fresno State. This game also could really shake up each division race if the Broncos get the win there would be only one undefeated in the league which would be Utah State (yes, we are saying the Aggies will win against San Jose State).

A Boise State win would then set the stage for a very likely winner-take-all for the Mountain Divison title in Boise.
