Utah State gained another first-place vote
The Week 6s Mountain West poll is out! The order is not all that different but the teams earning first-place votes have changed hands a bit. Boise State increased its first-place votes to nine, Utah State added one to get to two, but it was San Diego State who lost some and no has just a singular top vote.
Fresno State once again did not receive a first-place vote but they are still in a stronghold of that second spot overall. A few other adjustments saw Hawaii drop a spot after its closer than expected win over San Jose State and Colorado State which was on a bye flip-flopped spots with New Mexico.
There will be a significant change next week since San Diego State opens league play and takes on Boise State. A win by the Aztecs will garner them more first-place votes and move up a bit in the poll, while a Broncos win will cement them as the best team, at least for a week.
