Eight Mountain West teams

Every single Mountain West team that has six wins is going bowling and that includes the Hawaii Warriors that finished 6-7. The Warriors will be staying home and play in the Hawaii Bowl and get a solid opponent in Memphis.

The reason that Hawaii is going to be in a bowl game is that the NCAA created a last-minute bowl to allow every bowl-eligible team to get to participate in a bowl game

For the Mountain West, that means there will be eight teams in the post season and that will be a record number of teams that are going to a bowl game from the conference.

With Utah State winning the Mountain West title they are all but assured to b going to the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl.
