What title game do we want to see.
The Mountain West tournament kicks off in Las Vegas on Tuesday with the opening games between the sixth and 11th seeds. Those teams have some of the lowest odds wo win the whole thing, and that makes sense due to the seasons Air Force, San Jose State, and New Mexico had this past year.
The top of the league is very competitive between the top four teams and Nevada is a very close fifth, but weven the Wolf Pack are not given amazing odds to win the entire tournament.
San Diego State is the odds on favorite and is givennearly a coin flip chance to win the tournament this weekend, and that is who our staff mostly picks to win the whole thing.
Staff Picks
San Diego State earned seven of the 10 votes to win the tournament but Colorado State, Utah State, and Boise State eached earned a vote.
Our staff also picked its most anticipated title game matchup and the overwheliming game they all want to see is San Diego State vs. Utah State. That would be a rematch of last year’s epic title game which saw the Aggies upset the Aztecs on a Sam Merrill buzzer beater.
The other games considered were San Diego State matching up against Colorado State or Boise State.
