Last week my picks went 1-4 after the cancellation of the Air Force-Wyoming game. And I’m 9-13 on my picks this season. Let’s see if we can get above .500 this week.

Utah State @ wyoming (-20.5, O/U 47.5)

Utah State has lost their coach and starting quarterback in back to back weeks. This week they’re starting a quarterback who hasn’t played a snap in college. Wyoming has a good defense, but Utah State showed they still shouldn’t be counted out yet against Fresno State. I’m taking the over because I feel it’s the safer bet here.

New Mexico @ Air Force (-7.5, O/U 55.5)

New Mexico slowed down a dangerous Nevada team last week. Air Force hasn’t played in two weeks. New Mexico sees this as a rivalry game. Until I see how Air Force responds after two weeks off, I’m staying away from the spread. Take the under as Air Force will look to slow the game down as they get back up to speed.

Pick: Under

San diego state @ nevada (-1.5, O/U 45.5)

This game could be decide one of the potential participants in this years championship game. Nevada will be looking to get back up to speed after coming close to a loss against New Mexico. San Diego State’s defense will be tested against a strong Wolf Pack passing attack. I’m thinking that defense bends a little and the score is in the 50s this game.

UNLV @ Colorado state (-14.5, O/U 57.5)

I’m not really sure what to pick here. Colorado State had multiple kicks blocked and returned for touchdowns last week. UNLV had chances against San Jose State but blew them. I don’t trust Colorado State enough to cover this spread, take UNLV and the points.

Pick: UNLV +14.5

san jose state @ fresno state (+2.5, O/U 58.5)

The other matchup of the week. San Jose State is looking to go 5-0, while Fresno State is looking to stake a possible claim on a championship position. Fresno State is a good team, I just think San Jose State is a better one. Take the Spartans to cover.

Pick: San Jose State -2.5

boise state @ hawaii (+14.5, O/U 60.5)

Boise State is coming of a good comeback win over Colorado State, while Hawaii looks to recover from a loss to San Diego State. The history between these two teams points towards a high scoring matchup, so I’m going to take the over in this matchup.
