A new week means new bowl guesses
After the Week 8 results there are some changes in our bowl projections and also a few new teams are officially bowl eligible. Utah State, San Diego State, and Fresno State became the first official bowl eligible teams.
The other teams that are a lock to earn a bowl bid are Hawaii and Boise State, both which need a single win qualify for the postseason.
There are now just two, maybe three, other teams that are in the mix for the likely one bowl spot and it will go to either Wyoming, Air Force or Nevada. The Cowboys are the longest of long shots as they are 2-6 and need to win the final four games of the year, the Falcons need three and the Wolf Pack need to win two games.
