The latest bowl projections are out after the fourth week of Mountain West play. There were some teams on a bye and also a few scares this weekend that could have impacted these latest bowl projections. San Diego State escaped in overtime over Eastern Michigan, and Utah State held off a furious Air Force rally.
Colorado State seems to be very much out of bowl consideration after losing to an FCS team and UNLV’s bowl chances took a hit but they are still hanging around.
The number of bowl teams this week will still be six with Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State, Hawaii, UNLV and Utah State.
