The Mountain West tournament is off entering its final day on Saturday and it will be No. 2 Utah State making its first-ever conference title game since joining the Mountain West. The Aggies made it this far by holding off New Mexico in the quarterfinal round but then finding its groove to crush Fresno State by 25 points.
San Diego State continued to take its traditional path to the Mountain West tournament title game. In 20 years of the league, the Aztecs will have appeared in 11 of the title games and so far have won five.
