Dalton earns player of the week award
Wyoming Cowboys had one game this week and it was a season opening victory at home over the San Diego State Aztecs. The Cowboys were led by forward Hayden Dalton who had a career high 36 points in the win.
Dalton had another career-best by sinking 11 free throws, he also pulled down 15 rebounds and had five assists.
Those numbers were good enough to give Dalton the first player of the week during conference play by our site.
Coming close to winning this award was Boise State’s Chandler Hutchison who in two games led Boise State to a 2-0 record with wins over Colorado State and UNLV. Hutchison averaged 28 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
