The Week 5 Mountain West poll is out and while there are few changes overall the first-place votes were mixed up a bit. There are still four teams earning those votes but Utah State joins the fold with one first-place vote whereas Fresno State lost those votes from last week.

Even with zero votes to be at the top of the league, Fresno State is still the No. 2 team this week ahead of San Diego State, Utah State, and Hawaii. We probably should mention that Boise State is still at the top while getting the week off as they get ready for the Wyoming game this weekend.

Colorado State had a big fall from seventh to 10th and that could be too high as about half of the voters put them 11th or 12th, but that is what you get after losing to an FCS team.
