What are the oddsmakers saying about these match ups?
Late in the week we will look at odds and recent lines and make our best picks and bets. Odds courtesy of Vegas Insider and inputted at time of writing.
Boy, the Mountain West is really turning things on their heads so far this year. We are 16-20 on picks for the year after going 4-5 in this past week. At this point you’d make more money by picking the opposite of what I do, because that’s just the chaos of the Mountain West this year.
Nevada @ Air Force (-24, O/U 45.5)
Both of these teams laid an absolute egg last week. Air Force had the chance to place their hold on a down Mountain West. And Nevada had to endure a drawn out game due to weather and scored no points. The Wolf Pack still have a lot of work to do on offense and it remains to be seen if the Falcons can get it going once again.
Pick: Under

BOise State @ UTEP (+16.5, O/U 45.5)
Another under pick. But it feels like the best bet to make. The teams are a combined 1-5 on the over/under this season. Boise’s offense has taken a major step back and UTEP can’t generate any offense whatsoever. The under is making a comeback this year folks.
Pick: Under
TOLDEO @ SAN Diego STATe (+3, O/U 45)
What happened in San Diego? The Aztecs look a shell of their former selves. They have no identity on offense besides running the ball. Their defense isn’t making up for the shortcomings of the offense either. The Rockets come in at an interesting junction. They were able to put up points against Ohio State, even in a blow out, so expect some points in this one from Toldeo.
Pick: Toldeo -3

Sacramento State @ Colorado State (No Line)
There is no line for this game at the time of writing. However it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the Rams are struggling bad. They’ve had two players transfer out and another leave the program. The Hornets are coming off a big win over Northern Iowa and are ranked 6th in the FCS polls. Sacramento State most likely adds an FBS win to their resume
Pick: Sacramento State
