The early set of lines are out for the second week of Mountain West football and its 12 games on the slate for this Saturday. These odds were taken from Vegas Insider and are going to change throughout the week.
New Mexico State at Utah State (-22.5)
This line has already moved in less than a day of being listed. It opened up with Utah State a 21-point home favorite and has moved more in favor of the Mountain West Aggies by 1.5 points. New Mexico State is 0-2 and has only scored 17 points while Utah State nearly upset No. 11 Michigan State.
New Mexico at Wisconsin (-35)
The real question in this game is if the Lobos will cover this massive five-touchdown spread. On the football front, New Mexico threw the ball a lot, albeit against an FCS team, but this will be a real test of the new Lobos offense.
Nevada at Vanderbilt (-10)
This is a very, very odd line. It actually opened as an eight-point line for Vanderbilt but the money has shifted even more toward them. This Nevada team did put up 72 points in the opener and that is not a fluke. Scoring that many against an FBS team is not likely but the Wolf Pack are playing a Vanderbilt team that will struggle to make a bowl game. It is early in the week but if you are a gambler go big on Nevada to cover.
Air Force at Florida Atlantic (-10)
This game is another one where the home team gained a few points in a few hours. This one had the Owls at -7.5 as the opening line but now it is double digits. The Lane Kiffin alure is still a thing despite getting waxed by Oklahoma in the opener. This is another game to keep an eye out because as of now Air Force is a good bet.
Wyoming at Missouri (-16.5)
This Wyoming defense is really good but they eventually fell apart last week against Washington State. This Missouri offense can put up a lot of points and will be a test for this Cowboy defense. The reason this line is over two touchdowns is because the Wyoming offense is just awful.
Arkansas at Colorado State (+12)
After two games of watching Colorado State play, nothing would surprise me on this outcome, and specifically on the end of the Rams getting blown out. The defense is a mess and after one week of the quarterback position looking great it was bad in Week 2 and Collin Hill made an appearance replacing K.J. Carta-Samuels.
