Who is going to the postseason?

Two games in and we are totally going to overreact after just a few weeks of the season and add just a few more teams to the bowl scenario this week. We go over the top and project seven teams to go bowling, now that likely won’t happen but we can all dream.

The new additions are Air Force and we welcome back Wyoming to the fold. The extra bowl spot comes from the Armed Forces Bowl which has one of its two spots as an at-large bid.

The Falcons crushing its rival Navy gets them back in the mix as that defense is shaping up to be really good and one of the best in the league. For Wyoming, there is a path to get to six wins and the offense showed us something by putting up 50 points — yes, one was a defensive score, but still.

There is a better than decent chance that a bowl eligible team from the Mountain West may not make it to the post season.

There are a few other at-large bowl spots plus another spot that could open up depending on what Group of Five league goes to a New Year’s Six game and give the league more options.
