Last week my picks went 4-1 after the cancellation of the Boise State/UNLV game. And I’m 17-17 on my picks this season. Let’s see if we can get above .500 this week.

Nevada @ San jose State (-2.5, O/U 58.5)

Two high powered offenses face each other in a game that has Mountain West Championship implications. Both Nevada and San Jose State’s offenses have been controlled by strong defensive teams. This week shouldn’t be any different. I believe the under should hit comfortably here.

Pick: Under

Boise State @ wyoming (+12.5, O/U 48.5)

I want to say the line is a little low here, but after further research it seems about right. After the Cowboys failure last week at New Mexico, I think Boise has plenty of ammo to go after them both offensively and defensively. Boise will want to cement their championship spot here and they should cover.

Pick: Boise State -12.5

utah State @ colorado state(-13.5, O/U 53.5)

Utah State came back to earth against Air Force and Colorado State had special teams mistakes again. Colorado State has been decent against the run this year. Utah State has just been bad all around. This is kind of a tough call because anything can happen. But I’ll take the Rams to cover.

Pick: Colorado State -13.5

san diego State @ byu (-16.5, O/U 49.5)

SDSU beat Colorado State last week with a down day offensively. BYU lost last week to Coastal Carolina in a great game. San Diego State has a game plan to win against BYU and it’s ball control. Coastal Carolina had the ball for almost two-thirds of the game. I don’t know if the Aztecs will pull it out in the end, but they should cover.

Pick: SDSU +16.5

Fresno state @ New mexico (+10.5, O/U 59.5)

Well I was wrong last week about New Mexico. I don’t think it will happen again. Fresno State is too strong of a team this year. They missed out on a couple chances, but they’ve gained confidence throughout the year. This game will be tough, but the Bulldogs should pull it out.

Pick: Fresno State -10.5

unlv @ Hawaii (-21.5, O/U 58.5)

I think this game will be a high scoring affair. UNLV hasn’t really shown that they can be a high scoring team, but Hawaii doesn’t have the best defense this year. UNLV has a worse defense, so I’m expecting late night fireworks on the Hawaiian Islands.
