This win for Air Force was expected as Canisius is not a very good team, but what was the most surprising thing in this game was the amount of points that the Falcons put up. There were five players in double-figures and nearly six with another player with nine and eight points each.

San Diego State at Arizona State (9 p.m. ET, Pac-12 Networks)

Final Score: Arizona State 90, San Diego State 68
Line: Pick’em
Staff Consensus pick: San Diego State
Staff results: 4-6

San Diego State had the lead in this game in the second half where Arizona State outscored the Aztecs 56-28 for the easier than expected win.

It is still very, very early for San Diego State to panic but there are some concerns for how this game played out in the second half.

Omaha at New Mexico (9 p.m. ET/TV: MWN)

Final Score: New Mexico 103, Omaha 71
Line: New Mexico -7.5
Staff Consensus pick: New Mexico
Staff results: 9-1

Try to keep up with the Lobos offense which had its second-straight 100-plus point game. Yes, the competition hasn’t been amazing but the production has been off the charts in the past two games. This time around the Lobos were led by Troy Simmons who came off the bench to score 24 points on 6 of 11 from downtown.

Winthrop at Colorado State (9 p.m. ET, TV: MWN)

Final Score: Colorado State 80, Winthrop 73
Line: No line
Staff Consensus pick: Colorado State
Staff results: 10-0

Colorado State was in trouble in this game but they rallied from a 14-point deficit for the win. Leading the way was Nico Carvacho who had a massive double-double with 11 points and 20 rebounds.
