College football is still just under 100 days to kicking off but Bovada and South Point Casino have released early odds for the season, and there are plenty of Mountain West teams that can be bet on already.
There are just over a dozen lines regarding Mountain West teams with some being very intriguing to take and some that you should stay away no matter what.

STAY AWAY
Boise State at Nevada (+16) Saturday, Oct. 13
First off this is a road game for the Broncos and the Wolf Pack should have one of the most potent offenses in the league meaning they should be able to keep any games close. However, with the Nevada defense is still a work progress they could allow all the points to Boise State
UNLV at USC (-28) Saturday, Sept. 1
This is just too many points to pick a side. Even with the Trojans breaking in a new quarterback while the Rebels have a very likely improved Armani Rogers under center, this UNLV team is not there yet to challenge the Trojans. However, losing by four touchdowns will take a monumental bad effort in UNLV’s season opener.
Utah State at Boise State (-17) Saturday, November 24
Again this is way too many points. If forced to pick Boise State would be the selection but this Aggies offense is expected to be better under the second year of David Yoast’s offense which is wide open. The Aggies should be able to get some points and their defense should be able to make a few stops here and there to make this a tough game to pick.
Utah State vs Michigan State (+25½) Friday, August 31
Whenever a line is over 20 points it is a tough line to pick. Michigan State is projected to be in the neighborhood of a top 10 team and the Spartans should be victorious but this is a season opener and the Aggies are not a team that is going to win three games. Utah State has one quarterback in Jordan Love for some stability and the second year of a new offense and the early lean is for the Aggies to cover this massive spread, but again this is too many points to confidently drop a few bucks on this one.
