In week 10 of the college football season, the Mountain West had some surprising results. Boise State crushed Fresno State. Wyoming rolled and took home the Bronze Boot. And UNLV got their first win of the season.

Last week we went 2-5 and we are 33-31 overall for the season. Poor week last week. Lets see if we can get back on track.

Wyoming @ Boise State (-14, O/U 48.5)

Boise State seemed to find its footing against Fresno State last week. Wyoming had an impressive performance, but it came against a depleted Colorado State defense. The Broncos seem to be rolling and Wyoming still struggled in aspects of the game. I like the Broncos to cover here.

Pick: Boise State -14

Hawai’i @ UNLV (+3.5, O/U 56)

UNLV finally got that chip of their shoulder. They beat New Mexico on the road last week. Hawai’i hung tough with San Diego State last week. I still don’t trust UNLV enough and this line is low enough that I think Hawai’i pulls it out.

Pick: Hawai’i -3.5

Air Force @ Colorado State (+2.5, O/U 45)

Colorado State has a depleted linebacker corps. Air Force has controlled this series. Air Force will win, but I’m expecting both offenses to fire on all cylinders. This total seems low even if both defenses have been great all season. I expect this game to be close to a shootout.

New Mexico @ Fresno State (-24.5, O/U 51)

New Mexico has the dubious honor of being UNLV’s first win of the Marcus Arroyo era. Now they get to face a Fresno State that took a beating against Boise State last week. The Bulldogs are going to come into this game with anger. New Mexico might get a few scores, but Fresno State is going to run over the Lobos in this game.

Pick: Over

NEvada @ #22 San Diego State (-3, O/U 45.5)

San Diego State escaped against Hawai’i last week, with their defense continuing to bail out poor offensive performances. Nevada has been on a roll. They lost a close one to Fresno State a couple weeks ago. I expect a Wolf Pack offense to be firing on all cylinders. I think the over will hit and I’m more confident in that pick than a spread pick.

Utah State @ San Jose State (-4.5, O/U 57.5)

Umm, I’m not really sure what to think about this game. Either team could win. Utah State has exceed expectations this season. San Jose State has come around after a slow start to the season. I think Utah State’s explosive offense is going to carry the day here.

Pick: Utah State +4.5
