Fox Sports Joel Klatt Has Poor Taste In Helmets

The CFB analyst put out his top five helmets.

We have a better top 5.

This could be unofficial to our top five series we are doing this fall but the list we create would surpass five. Joel Klatt is on the lead television team for the college football coverage on FOX and he put out his favorite helmets.

OK, he chose his alma mater of Colorado at No. 1, and while that is fine for him to do and not really a bad helmet with Ralphie and the CU interlocking. For me, Texas has a great looking helmet with the burnt orange. Notre Dame is just a gold helmet, so while well known and iconic it is not a great helmet. Michigan’s, whatever it is, is just fine and Alabama’s is a boring crimson with a number on it.

Now, let’s go through the Mountain West and point out how each and every school has a better helmet than each of these five. This list is in no order but just pointing out the Mountain West helmets are better nearly from top to bottom, and there may be some alternate helmets mixed in because they are awesome.
