Who is leaving early?

The NFL early entry deadline has come and passed and there were a total of 10 Mountain West players that decided for one reason or another to give up their college eligibility and try to make it to the NFL.

Fresno State was hit pretty hard by losing two of its best defenders in Mike Bell and Jeff Allison. Utah State lost a pair of key offensive players that could have made life a whole lot easier for new head coach Gary Andersen with Darwin Thompson and Dax Raymond.

Boise State for the fourth-straight time is losing a junior running back to the NFL Draft, but as history has shown the Broncos will be just fine plugging in the next guy up.

John Ursua has put up so many big numbers for Hawaii it made sense for him to move on, and the same can be said for Colorado State’s Preston Williams.

The two odd choices to give up eligibility both came from San Diego State. Offensive lineman Tyler Roemer was removed from the team and that may have had something to do with that. As for tight end Kahale Warring, he had only 31 catches and three touchdowns but scouts are projecting him to go anywhere from a second to fourth round pick.
