Boise State RB Alexander Mattison Declares For The NFL Draft
Mattison joins a long list of Broncos backs to declare early.
Will he be the latest back be the latest Bronco to get drafted?
Boise State running back Alexander Mattison kept quiet about his football playing future, but Friday was the day as the junior back announced on social media he is giving up his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL Draft.
Mattison finishes his career at Boise State with 2,289 yards and 33 rushing touchdowns in three years and two of those came as the starting running back. He also was named a first-team all-conference running back in 2018.
Mattison has a real good chance to be drafted in 2019 and if that happens he will be the fourth-consecutive Broncos running back taken in the NFL Draft.
Maybe it is time to start calling Boise State Running U?
Texas has four running backs currently on an NFL roster, Wisconsin has three and Boise State is in that category with possibly four on an NFL roster in 2019.
