AP and Coaches Poll include Mountain West
The latest Associated Press and USA TODAY coaches poll came out and they are a bit interesting. First, the teams from leagues not playing were dropped after Week 1, so Pac-12 and Big Ten schools that are not playing were removed from the polls, plus any teams receiving votes should not be receiving votes.
However, there were some errors as Boise State earned votes in both the AP and coaches polls but it will be fixed. In the AP poll, the Broncos earn six votes and in the coaches poll they earned 15.
Air Force who still could play two games this year vs. Army and Navy earned two votes in the AP poll.
This will all get fixed next week but it is a bit of reassurance that voters are giving Air Force and Boise State some top 25 credit.
