Two All-Americans From Mountain West Conference
Collegiate Baseball released their AA teams on May 31 and two players from the Mountain West were on it. Air Force’s Nic Ready made third team AA based on a .341 average and 20 home runs. UNLV’s Bryson Stott also made third teamed on the strength of a .365 average and 4 home runs.
No surprise concerning either one as I thought Ready was certainly worthy since he showed power on the road as well as home. The 20 dingers led the MW easily. Stott was coming into the 2018 season after making his presence known in 2017 by being named a Freshman AA. He will be watched by many next year. Ready is a junior and should make pitchers suffer again next year.
