Still plenty for which to be thankful.

Jeremy and Matt are back to look ahead to Week 13 of Mountain West football. Unfortunately, another two games have been canceled because of COVID-19 concerns — the battle for the Oil Can between Fresno State and San Diego State and the Thursday afternoon tilt between Colorado State and Air Force — but the schedule is still stuffed with plenty of action to bookend the holiday weekend.

First off, on Thursday, don’t get suckered into watching the Detroit Lions lose on Thanksgiving Thursday again when there’s a breakthrough on the line between New Mexico and Utah State. Both sides are still hunting for their first victory of the fall, but there’s still potential for plenty of intrigue.

The next day, while you’re working off that turkey hangover, Wyoming and UNLV face off to whet your appetite for Saturday’s pair of big-time matchups. San Jose State travels to the blue to face Boise State in maybe the program’s biggest game ever on Saturday afternoon, then Nevada looks to keep its unbeaten season alive on the road in a late-night duel against Hawaii.
