New Mexico’s Western tour continues

The Week 11 game between the New Mexico Lobos and the Nevada Wolf Pack is being moved from Albuquerque and is now going to be played at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

This is not all that shocking as the Lobos stayed the week in Las Vegas to prepare for its road game at Hawaii on Saturday night.

The state of New Mexico has strict COVID-19 guidelines and anyone who leaves the state and returns is subjected to a 14-day quarantine and for football that will not work. Not even a negative test is enough to resume daily life upon return.

The odds of the Lobos playing any games all year in their own state seem highly unlikely and also what seems unlikely is that they will even be allowed to return to the state of New Mexico during the season. This could be a very long road trip for this team.

The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. PT and air on FS2 and there will be no fans in the stadium.
