Nevada might not be completely healthy when it opens up its most anticipated season ever on Tuesday by hosting BYU. Head coach Eric Musselman said that Jordan Caroline and Jordan Brown were banged up and their status is not clear, nor is the specific of its injury.
However, this is not something new under the Musselman regime who overstates the injury status of his players. Both should play against the Cougars but this is not something that is just to be tossed aside because who knows if these issues could last a bit and be a thorn in the side.
If Caroline is out that has the potential be a big blow to the offensive unit if it is a long-term or nagging injury. On the flip-side, the Wolf Pack team no longer is going just six deep, so there are playmakers behind Caroline if his minutes are reduced while hurting.
Potentially seeing the delay of highly touted five-star recruit Brown would bum out some fans on Tuesday night as he is the one of the highest rated recruits ever to step on the court in Reno.
