Why nevada Will Win

Nevada and UNLV are two of the best offenses in the Mountain West. The Wolf Pack average 83 points per game while the Rebels average 86 points per game. The Rebels have a talented and tall frontcourt in Shakur Juiston and potential lottery pick Brandon McCoy. The Rebels have a pair of talent guards in Jordan Johnson and Jovan Mooring. This is a much-improved UNLV team from the dumpster fire Rebels team from last year and they have the talent to pull off the huge upset in Reno on Wednesday night,

But the Wolf Pack are just a more complete team than UNLV is right now and while the Rebels have a much-improved team, the Wolf Pack are just better now with the Martin twins and Kendall Stephens providing the offense and the steadiness of Lindsey Drew. The Wolf Pack are also a better defensive team than the Rebels which will offset the Rebels offense. Despite the height disadvantages the Wolf Pack must deal with against UNLV, Nevada’s balanced offense. better defense and the home crowd will be enough for the Wolf Pack to defeat their Silver State rivals to the south.

Score Prediction

Nevada 81, UNLV 74
