Why NEVADA Will Win
The Wolf Pack will look to exact revenge on a Rebels team that performed excellently in their upset of the Wolf Pack in Reno on February 7th. The Rebels had a great game from Jovan Mooring who scored 31 points and the Rebels dominated on the glass against the Wolf Pack. Also, of note, Nevada was playing without Caleb Martin who missed the game with a foot sprain injury.
This time around, Caleb Marin will be back, and it is Mooring who is a game time decision with an injury he suffered against New Mexico on Sunday. The Wolf Pack should be focused as they look to avenge that loss in Reno at the hands of the Rebels. I expect the Wolf Pack to neutralize the Rebels size advantage in the frontcourt by trying to outrun the Rebels by pushing the ball fast in transition before the Rebels can set their defense. That and a healthy Caleb Martin will be the difference as the Wolf Pack will split the regular season series against their rivals to the south.
