Why Nevada will win

Its not going to be easy for Nevada to defeat the Red Raiders. Texas Tech is 13th in the nation in defense and are in the top 30 in offense per Ken  Pomeroy’s advance stats. Texas Tech is also a good rebounding team, a facet of the game the Wolf Pack have struggled at so far this season.

But Nevada does have a strength and that is shooting the three point shot. The Wolf Pack have shot 43 percent from the three point line as a team this season which is tops in the conference. The Red Raiders struggled to defend the three point shot in their last contest against Seton Hall where the Pirates shot 55 percent from three in their victory over Texas Tech

Nevada will win because of their good three point shooting and their strong ball movement. It’ll be a close contest in Lubbock but it will be one that the Wolf Pack can accomplish.

Score prediction

Nevada 70 Texas Tech 69
