Who are you taking in San Diego State vs New Mexico?

– Why San Diego State will win
– Why New Mexico will win
– How to watch the Mountain West title game
The Mountain West championship game is here and it is a throwback of sorts for who will win the conference championship. San Diego State and New Mexico are founding members of the Mountain West and are battling for the automatic berth for the NCAA Tournament.
This is the third-ever matchup between these schools in the conference title game and it will tie the most ever for a frequent matchup with three. It ties UNLV vs. BYU who have squared off a trio of times.
The winner of this game will also have the most conference tournament wins total with five championships. This is the Aztecs 11th appearance and Lobos seventh.

These two teams are old rivals and really do not like each other and that is what will make this matchup very, very excited. What will make this game very interesting is that they are two very different teams from the last time they played on Jan. 20 which saw the Lobos win.
One thing to expect is a huge and loud crowd from both teams at the Thomas & Mack and it should be an amazing atmosphere for this conference title game.
One winning streak will come to an end while one team will get a berth to the NCAA Tournament.
