On Sunday, the Mountain West hopes to hear two names called during the Selection Show for the first time in three years. Over the past two seasons, just the auto bids have reached the NCAA Tournament, Fresno State in 2016 and Nevada last year.

San Diego State punched its ticket to the tournament Saturday with an 82-75 win over New Mexico, the Aztecs’ first tournament appearance since 2015.

Nevada, which won its second consecutive regular season Mountain West title, is projected to make the field of 68 as an at-large. At the time of this article’s publication, Nevada was placed in each of the 84 bracket submissions on Bracket Matrix.

San Diego State is projected to be a No. 12 seed, according to Bracket Matrix, while Nevada is slated as a No. 8 seed.

The NCAA Tournament Selection Show will be seen on TBS for the first time ever, moving over from its previous CBS location. The show will begin at 3:00pm Pacific, and will run two hours. The tournament field will be announced first, followed by the bracket reveal.
