Nevada gets a pair of easy wins.
Fresno State had a weekend to forget.
The Bulldogs headed to Nevada and got swept over the course of three days. Fresh off a 3-game winning streak, Fresno State couldn’t find success against one of the tougher teams in the Mountain West Conference.
The Dogs lost on Friday night, 73-57, and then again on Sunday, 79-65.
Isaiah Hill and Orlando Robinson each chipped in 15 on Friday for the Dogs, and no other player scored in double figures.

Sunday was a little better, but not by much. Robinson scored another 15 points and added 8 rebounds. Isaiah Hill and Deon Stroud each scored 13 and Junior Ballard added 12 points off the bench.
However, the rest of the Bulldogs team combined for just 12 points against the Wolfpack on Sunday.
Grant Sherfield led the Pack in scoring in both games with 23 and then 27.
The Wichita State transfer is averaging north of 18 points per game this year and has helped lead Nevada to a 10-5 overall record, including 5-3 in conference play this far.
Nevada outrebounded Fresno State in both games, and the 2020-2021 season continues to be a struggle for a rebuilding Bulldogs squad.
The Dogs dropped to 3-5 in the conference, and 5-5 overall due to a couple of postponements early in the season. Big man Orlando Robsinson has easily been the best Fresno State player, averaging 17.5 points per game with just under 10 boards a game.
Robinson has scored in double-digits in every game, and he has a double-double in six of ten games this season.
Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, they can’t dwell on these losses for too long. Justin Hutson’s group will take on Boise State- who currently sits at a tie atop the MWC at 8-0- on Wednesday.
Nevada will have a few days off before taking on Wyoming on Friday and Sunday, and then a two-game slate versus UNLV.
