Brown is a McDonald’s All-American and top 15 recruit from the class of 2018
Five-star class of 2018 recruit Jordan Brown has committed to Nevada over Arizona, Cal, and others, multiple sources reported Friday morning.
Brown, who ranks No. 17 overall in 24/7 Sports’ class of 2018 player rankings, expects to start immediately on a loaded Wolf Pack team.
After years of dominating the transfer market, Brown is the first headlining high school recruiting commitment of Eric Musselman’s Nevada tenure. This also marks the second consecutive year a Mountain West team has picked up a five-star recruit after Brandon McCoy committed to UNLV last year.

Brown, a McDonald’s All-American, has locked up two gold medals with USA Basketball and participated in the Nike Hoops Summit last month against the nation’s elite prospects. The 6-10, 205-pound power forward is the highest-rated recruit to commit to Nevada in its program history.
With Brown’s commitment, Nevada now stands at 15 scholarships, which is two over the NCAA limit. Caleb Martin and Cody Martin both received NBA Draft combine invitations after tremendous junior seasons, and are unlikely to return to Reno this fall.
