Colorado State Looks To Get Back On Track Saturday Against Wyoming
Colorado State heads up the road to Laramie to take on their cross-state rival Wyoming noon on Saturday. The Rams are coming off of a loss to the top 10 ranked Nevada at home on Wednesday and need a much better defensive effort to get back on the winning track.
DEFENSE
Colorado State had no defensive answer for Nevada on Wednesday night. giving up 52 first-half points. Granted Nevada is a far better team than Wyoming but Wyoming does have Justin James who leads the Mountain West conference with 20 points a game.
Feed The Carvacho
Niko Carvacho has to be a force inside early and often for Colorado State. From scoring to rebounding. If Carvacho can establish a presence early down in the blocks then that should give open looks to J.D. Paige and the gang from outside.
Keep Your Cool
The Rams had some uncharacteristic fouls on Wednesday against Nevada. It may have been bad calls or what not but either way, there was a lack of composure towards the end of the game. This is a young team and they have to learn that if things are not going your way, stay cool.
