Broncos stay unbeaten in conference play.
The two game set between the Boise State Broncos hosting the Air Force Falcons is over, and it went about as expected.
In game one, BSU defeated Air Force by a score of 78-59, although it was in the mid-20’s at one-point. For Boise, Derrick Alston Jr led the scoring with 16 points, Marcus Shaver with 12, Max Rice with 12, and the long awaited debut of Arizona transfer, Devonaire Doutrive resulted in an eight point outing. For the Academy, not much went right with only two players scoring in double figures, A.J. Walker with 16 points, Keaton Van Soelen with 15 points, after that disappointing performance, Joe Scott team would come out with determination in game two.
In the second game, The Academy came out firing, leading by a score of 40-33 at half. Unfortuantely, for Joe Scott, on the backs of Derrick Alston Jr and Abu Kigab, Boise State snuck out with a victory of 80-69, despite Emmanuel Akot missing the game with a minor injury.

Kigab was integral to the victory with 25 PTS, 11 Rebounds, Derrick Alston Jr with 19 points with three triples.
The Academy got 23 from A.J. Walker, 17 from Chris Joyce, and 12 from Glen McClintock.
Takeaways:
The series went as expected, Boise State was able to both ends by double-figures, had the Broncos dropped one it would have been detrimental for their at-large hopes for March.
Devonaire Doutrive looked great for someone that hasn’t played in over a year, look Doutrieve won’t be a star this season, but he the future of the program, whatever he gives this season is a bonus.
