When will the Mountain West get ranked again?
The Mountain West does not have any teams ranked after Week 6 in the USA TODAY Coaches poll. Boise State’s loss to San Diego State knocked the Broncos out of the rankings which leaves zero Mountain West in the top 25.
Even with no teams ranked there are five teams that have earned votes. San Diego State is the closest with 25 points, Utah State has 11 points after defeating BYU, Hawaii has six points as does Boise State and then Fresno State has a single point.
What will it take for the Mountain West to be ranked? The easy and really only answer at this point is to keep on winning and hope other teams lose ahead of them which are ranked.
