Boise State survives Tuesday night visit from Air Force, wins 62-57 at home.
BOISE–The Boise State Broncos are cruising into one of the tougher stretches on their conference schedule this weekend. But with a 10-game winning streak, which may be the boost of confidence needed for what lies ahead on their schedule.
Air Force walked into Extra Mile Arena looking for the upset. While the Broncos, aside from their winning streak needed to keep the W in Boise to strengthen their hold on 1st place in the Mountain West. Although they were able to accomplish just that, Joe Scott’s Falcons didn’t make it easy.
The lead was cut to just two points, as a 12-1 run by Air Force brought the score to 58-56 with just 28 seconds left in the game. But a pair of trips to the free-throw line sealed

Boise State: Fr. G Tyson Degenhart-19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists & 2 steals in 35 minutes of play
The freshman from Spokane has been a key part of the Broncos rotations since bursting into the starting line up. Though he struggled a bit from deep in this one (1-4 from three), Degenhart got back on his scoring horse. Reaching double-digits for the first time in three contests.
Air Force: So. F Nikc Jackson-17 points & 6 rebounds in 21 minutes of play
The sophomore big man appears to be making strides in January. With two back-to-back games with double-digit scoring outings, Jackson appears to be making his time on the court. He went 6-7 from the floor on Tuesday night, only missing one three-point shot in just 21 minutes of playing time.
