Why UNLV Will Win
They have to win. Sitting at 1-3 in the conference would likely mean they have no chance of actually winning the regular season title, and for a team that showed a lot of promise during the non conference slate, that would be very disappointing. Fortunately, the Runnin’ Rebels are vastly superior to the Falcons from a talent standpoint. If Brandon McCoy and Shakur Juiston can dominate on the inside, and Jovan Mooring can bounce back from his dismal game against Utah State, UNLV should be able to win easily.
Why air force Will Win
In order for the Falcons to have a chance of taking down the Runnin’ Rebels they will need to receive big nights from their guards, Jacob Van and Trevor Lyons. And fortunately for them, UNLV has struggled containing their opponents top guards. If Lyons can control the game running the Princeton offense, and Van replicates his performance from last years double overtime thriller (17 points), the Falcons can keep this game close and at altitude against a reeling opponent, they can absolutely pull off the upset.
