Another pro spring league had its draft.
Maybe we, or everyone, all jumped the gun on last year’s spring football league since the AAF never finished the year and folded.
The XFL is back for a second go-around and held its draft and since we all love to keep track of former Mountain West players we will track where they were selected in the draft.

The draft was quite unique as instead of teams picking whoever they want, the XFL decided to have a position group be taken per round. So for example, one round is dedicated to the offensive line, the defensive front seven, secondary, and so on.
San Diego State led the way with seven players drafted and from the league, there were players taken from six of the 12 teams and the bulk of players drafted came from the offensive line.
