Another game canned
Utah State and Wyoming’s Thursday night game has fallen due to COVID-19 issues within the Aggies program. This game was to be played in Laramie and this Thursday night with Jim Bridger’s Rifle on the line in what is one of the more great trophy games.

For Utah State, this is the first game they are not playing due to COVID-19 but for Wyoming, it will be their second week in a row they will not play as their game vs. Air Force was canceled due to the Falcons having COVID-19 issues.
This could be good news for Utah State who had both its offensive and defensive coordinator were out last week due to COVID-19 and also the Aggies were going to its third-string quarterback in Cooper Legas for the start as Jason Shelley was removed from the team for violating team rules, and backup Andrew Peasley was going to be out with COVID-19.
This could just maybe lead to something for Wyoming to add a game. The Pac-12 is reportedly allowing for teams to add a non-conference game, per Jon Wilner of the Bay Area Media Group.
As of now, Colorado has an open date as their game this week vs. Arizona State was canceled earlier in the week, so there could be a small opening for a regional game between Wyoming and Colorado.
Getting a game on this short notice is possible as last week, the Pac-12 made a switch in games as UCLA and Cal was announced on Friday mid-day and moved to Sunday since Utah could not play the Bruins and Washington was unable to play the Bears. So, there is some time to figure out a Wyoming vs. Colorado game.
