The best thing about this game is that the winner gets Bridgers Rifle but that might be the only excitement in this game as this could be a blowout. Yes, the Cowboys defense is pretty good, but not elite, as they are giving up 25.7 points per game. However, Utah State’s offense is one of two teams to score over 50 points per game.
Utah State’s offense has been on fire and specifically, QB Jordan Love which has won three straight player of the week awards will try to make it four. The Cowboys defense might cause Love and the offense some issues but at some point the Aggies will breakthrough one way or another.
Being at War Memorial Stadium will help the Cowboys but their offense is so bad with the exception of running back Nico Evans who leads the league in rushing yards.
Evans’ ground attack will not be able to make up for the woes of QB Tyler Vander Wal who has the lowest quarterback rating of those who qualify at 99.67 and has just three touchdown passes to three picks.
Look for Utah State to keep running through this league with a big win.
