Why UNLV Will Win
While Northern Iowa isn’t rated as high as Utah, they check in at 98 on Kenpom, this could be the Runnin’ Rebels most grueling test yet, as this game will be their first real road game of the season, against a team that likes to play through its talented forwards. That being said, UNLV’s front court is the more talented group, and if UNLV can continue to recieve balance scoring from both their forwards and guards, that will go along way in forcing UNI to change their forward centric game plan, in order to try and keep pace with the high scoring Rebels. If Jordan Johnson continues his stellar play, he, McCoy and Juiston should be in for big nights.
