The Diamond Head Classic runs from December 22nd through the 25th.
With the release of the schedule for this winters Diamond Head Classic, the Runnin’ Rebels 2018-2019 schedule is officially complete.
The Rebels will face off against Hawaii, who will be hosting the tournament on their home court at the Stan Sheriff Center on the island of Honolulu. Should UNLV win, they will face the winner of the Colorado vs Indiana State game, with the winner of that advancing to the championship. The other side of the bracket opens with Rhode Island vs. Bucknell and TCU vs. Charlotte.
For UNLV, this is ideal, as they will have two winnable games on their side of the bracket, with one of those hopefully being a win against Colorado, from the PAC-12. Should that scenario play out, the Rebels should have an opportunity to take on a potential top 25 team in TCU to win the tournament.
