Could McDaniels become the highest-ranked commit in MWC history?
Class of 2019 five-star recruit Jalen McDaniels announced his final five schools via Twitter Monday, including San Diego State.
McDaniels, the younger brother of current Aztec forward Jalen McDaniels, is currently ranked fourth overall in 24/7Sports’ class of 2019 rankings.
A Federal Way High School senior in Tacoma, Washington, Jaden is widely expected to choose between San Diego State and Texas. Jaden’s recruiting path has been largely guided by his father. A CBS Sports article published by Matt Norlander in July highlighted the unique recruiting process for the 6-11, 185-pounder.
If Jaden chooses San Diego State, he would become the highest-ranked Mountain West basketball commit in conference history.
McDaniels has yet to announce the date of his final college decision.
