Nevada Wolf Pack Possible Baseball Lineup For 2018

Nevada Lineup Guesses for 2018

Bozar’s Beliefs:

I’d sure like to hear from coach so as to get a better idea of what’s going on in the program. The Wolf Pack should be middle of the pack or higher this season.

C – Marco Valenzuela (SO) – .259 and 1
1B – Dillan Shrum (SO) – .317 and 2 in about half time work
2B – Keaton Smith (JR) – .292 and 5
SS – Jaylon McLaughlin (SO) – .212 and 1
3B – Grant Fennell (SR) – .328 and 2
OF – Mike Echavia (SR) – .307 and 9
OF – Cole Krzmarzick (SR) – .271 and 3
OF – Chase Grant (SR) – .286 and 1 in about half time play
DH – Daniel Perry (JR) – JC transfer and a draft pick
SP – Mark Nowaczewski (SR) – 6-6 and 4.89 with 15 starts
SP – Grant Ford (SO) – 3-6 and 7.53 in 4 starts
SP – Riley Ohl (SO) – 3-3 and 5.29 in 9 starts
RP – Austin Dick (SR) – 0-0 and 3.72 with 1 save

Pitching looks good as the two sophomores should be better but all the starters have experience as starters which makes it not a new position for a pitcher to figure out. Pretty much the same can be said about the field positions. It could be tough for newbies coming in to crack the lineup. Three returning .300 hitters is always a plus. This experience says to me that the Wolf Pack could be in the hunt for the regular season title in the MWC.
