Who will shine at the NFL Combine

The Mountain West will be well-represented at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis later this month. There will be 14 former players at the annual event where hundreds of personnel from all 32 NFL teams will be present to get a look at these players.

Getting an invite to the combine is a very good indication that a player will be drafted, so this invitation is huge to be able to be seen by the decision makers.

Fresno State and San Diego State lead the way with three each. The four teams that did not earn an invite are Air Force, New Mexico, UNLV, and Nevada.

A few interesting omissions are Colorado State wide receiver Preston Williams but that stems from legal issues in his past which is why he is not participating. Hawaii wide receiver John Ursua seems to be a snub after the numbers he put up, and while there is no official word maybe he is still recovering from the injury that kept him out of the Hawaii Bowl.
